Where can I find my CTCP code?

The Corona Test Prescription Code(CTPC), often called an activation code. Is a code given to persons who should be tested as soon as possible. This group includes people who are suspected to be infected with the virus, people who are at greater risk when infected, people that came in contact with someone who has tested positive and people who arrived in Belgium after having visited a red- zone 14 days prior. 

The code itself is 16 alphanumeric characters long, and is received through SMS from the 8810 number with the following message.

Request your CTCP-Code

The Corona Test Prescription Code(CTPC), often called an activation code. Is a code given to persons who should be tested as soon as possible. This group includes people who are suspected to be infected with the virus, people who are at greater risk when infected, people that came in contact with someone who has tested positive and people who arrived in Belgium after having visited a red- zone 14 days prior. 

As a non- Belgian you can request a free PCR test, without a CTPC, if you meet one of the following conditions: 

 

  • If you have a medical prescription from your doctor, PSE doctor, or company doctor;
  • If you are returning from a red zone and can demonstrate this with your PFL (passenger location form) or proof of travel abroad.
  • You have acute onset symptoms with no other obvious cause.
If you do not meet one of these requirements, you will only be able to purchase a PCR test.

You can find your test results on the mijngezondheid.belgie.be website, the CovidSafe app, or on the COZO webpage.
